George William Pettigrove (b. 18 May 1871 in St. Albans, ME) was the 8th child of Allen H. Pettigrove (b. 1 Nov 1831 in Canaan, ME, not Ireland which was I think was a census error) and Miriam Wormwood (born about 1837 in New Brunswick, Canada). The other children were Ella Francis (b. 2 Jul 1856), Sara Jane (b. 30 Jun 1858), Emina D (b. 30 Sep 1861), Samuel (b. 2 Feb 1864), Charles Henry (b. 6 Aug 1865), Ulysses Grant (b. 9 Jun 1868), Arthur W (b. May 1870), George William (b. 18 May 1871) and Effie May (b. 14 Feb 1875- and was my husband's great grandmother). I have quite a bit of information on this branch of Pettigroves if interested.
