Hi Kathy, I'm a desendant of John & Malinda Pettit. I believe John (b. ca 1787 Fayette Co. PA.) and Jeremiah were brothers. There are several variations of the Pettet/Pettit name, but think we are of the same lineage. I'm in contact with several others that can't seem to be able th find Jeremiah & John's Father either.
