Can anyone furnish proof of the maiden name of Nicholas Perkins' 2nd wife, Mary? It has been published on the Internet that she was Mary Burton, but I have found no proof. I did find the baptism of their son, Nicholas, in England, when I was in Salt Lake City, and searched the same parish records hoping to find a marriage for Nicholas and Mary but had no luck. The marriage records seemed to have a gap in them for a short time during the previous years when the marriage might have taken place. Any help greatly appreciated.
