I am seeking information on what became of Eliza and Arthur Pender who are listed as living in Halifax NC in the 1850 and 1860 census. I can find 4 of their children, 3 including my grandfather, in Texas, and one in Rockymount NC living with the Applewhite family. I believe Arthur died in 1861, but I have no idea what became of Eliza. Any information would be appreciated.
