Patricia, I did some digging in Ira B. Peck's "Genealogical History of the Descendants of Joseph Peck . . ."; 1868. This Joseph is not ours, but a section of the book is devoted to the descendents of Joseph (1) of Milford. The following is from his book. Joseph (2) (baptized 1653) m. Mary Camp 27 Jan 1678/79. He died in Milford, CT. There follows a string of four Samuels that I believe are your line. Samuel(1) son of Joseph (2) (bap. 1690) m. Martha Clark 5 May 1714. Samuel (2) son of Samuel (1) (b. 21 May 1716) m. Hanna Jennings of Fairfield, CT 18 Aug 1735 Samuel (3) son of Samuel (2) (b. 22 Aug 1736; d. 12 Jun 1822) m. Mehitable Smith 7 Jul 1762. He was a Captain in the Milford Company during the Revolutionary War. Samuel (4) son of Samuel (3) (b. 19 Oct 1764; d. 28 Nov 1841) He was a ship's master.
