Dear Lori,

I found your grandmother (Olive Ruth Peaslee, b. ~1911, m. Alvin J. Hamel 14-May-1933) in my records, and I have her complete lineage back to the original immigrant in 1635 if you are interested. The basics go like this:

Olive Ruth was the third child of 3 born to Willie Herbert Peaslee and Mabel J. Loveren(?).

Willie Herbert Peaslee (b. ~1859 in NH) was the first child of two born to George W. Peaslee and Ruth A Peaslee (yes, her maiden name was Peaslee too).

George W. Peaslee (b. ~1829 in Weare, NH) was the sixth child of 7 born to Abner Peaslee and Betsy Patch.

Abner Peaslee (b. ~1789 in Weare, NH) was the seventh child of 8 born to Jonathan Peaslee and Hannah Hunt..

Jonathan Peaslee (b. 1755 in Weare, NH) was the first child of 9 born to Nathaniel Peaslee and Lydia Mary Colby.

Nathaniel Peaslee (b. 1731 in Newton, NH) was the first child of 12 born to Joseph Peaslee and Martha Hoag.

Joseph Peaslee was the first of 11 children born to John Peaslee and Mary Martin. John Peaslee (b.1769 in Haverhill, MA, d.1752) was the fourth child of 8 born to Joseph Peaslee and Ruth Barnard. Joseph Peaslee (b. 1646 in Haverhill, MA, d. 1734 in Haverhill, MA) was the fifth child of five born to the original immigrant to America: Joseph Peaslee (b. ~1598 in England).

Hope this helps connect your grandmother to the family….

GRAHAM
