Dear Richard(and Belinda) How great to hear of you (sorry that it's two years later) I have only recently returned from Withycombe, where I met Dick Pearse,son of Henry and second wife Maud, much to my great delight. He was telling me about his half brothers and sisters who had emigrated to Canada and showed me a newsletter 'Sully News' which is from a place called 'Big Eye'and is about the Pearse family, apparently there is a street named Pearse Avenue there).My great great grandmother was Mary Pearse, daughter of Amos Pearse,(who was born in Carhampton in 1786,died there in April 28 1861). Mary was born in Carhampton in 1822, died November 27 1893 in Dunster,Somerset. She married James Vicary, had, amongst others,Best wishes Ann Vicary,who married Charles Mead,(my grandparents). Have loads more of the ancestors and would love to hear of your lines. Best wishes Joy
