Jean, Your John Bloom Parr looks familiar. Is he the one listed in the 1910 census for Boone, Crawford, Indiana? I don't know how deep you want to get into the research here - but he may be the son of a John Parr born 1805 in Virginia. This John Parr could be connected to a couple of people including the Thomas Parr born 1778 in Kingston, Washington, Rhode Island. Perhaps a bit far-fetched - That would be one of my unproven lines leading back to Abel Parr in the Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1640. Just throwing this out as a suggestion - needs a lot of work. What do you think? Bill
