Looking for great grandmother, Leona Payne, from Dallas, Texas. She was probably born around 1900, but not sure where. Possibly Texas. Married to James Garfield McDonald, Sr. with two children, Leola, b. 1922 and James Garfield, Jr., b. 1924. Died about 1925, 26, 27, etc., shortly after children were born. Believed to be part American Indian and African American. Possibly Cherokee or Choctaw.
