Setting WP as you "default" is actually done in Windows (it's a registry entry) and not in PAF. If you have MSWord installed it takes "ownership" of the .rtf files, and will therefore be the default program that they open in. The way to change this is to click on My Computer, then click on View, and then on Options. Then click on the File Types tab. You will see a list of all the registered file types (file extensions such as .rtf) here, and what program is that file types default. Look for Rich Text Format on the list, and you will see that it is tied to MS Word. You can edit this, but if your not sure how to do it can really mess things up for it. But you can edit it. I don't know about others, but I have found that Word Perfect doesn't handle .rtf files as well as MSWord. It converts them strangely, but that might just be me. I hope I haven't gotten you more confused.
