For many years now, I have used PAF's ability to generate a website to post my database on my website. The downside of this approach is that you need webspace and a way to upload to it.
A simpler way is to use PAF to generate a GEDCOM file. Then upload the GEDCOM file to any of the many sites that allow you to upload for free. Typically they use the GEDCOM file to create a graphical family tree. I have used Wikitree.org, FamilySearch.org, and Tribalpages.com. Other popular sites include rootsweb.ancestry.com and ancestry.com. Check the fine print. But this process is easy: You create a free account, click the BROWSE button, browse to your GEDCOM file, and click the UPLOAD button. Typically you can check back within a day or less, and your family tree is available for viewing.
