Take a look at this to see if it will solve your problem:
Apparently one of the older versions of FTM had a free fourteen-day trial, so it might do the trick for you. The article talks about importing various files, but you'll have to investigate as to whether you could then export a gedcom.
If it works for you, just convert your file and uninstall the program afterwards.
