I am, by no stretch of the imagination, an expert on exporting from PAF, though what you want to do is possible by setting up the correct filters. So you may want to play around a bit and see what you can come up with. After setting up a filter, PAF will show you which individuals will be exported. Export into a gedcom, and then import it into the file where you want the data. If both sets of data share individuals, you'll need to go through the match and merge process.
Something I do when I only want to transfer data for a few people is to open both files at the same time. This normally causes only the latest file to be opened to be shown, but if you click on Window and then Tile Vertically, the two files will be presented side-by-side and you can copy the data from one to another.
Hope this helps.
