Elizabeth, Make sure that you remove the "*" from the file name when naming the gedcom file. It is the most common obstacle I have seen in the process. Try these steps: File menu > Export > All/other GEDCOM 5.5 > Export > Save in > Desktop > File name > all.ged > Export > OK Let us know if it worked. Bill
