I also get a loud beep when I am in the edit individual screen and I use the mouse to move from one field to another. I have two computers, desktop and laptop with PAF on both. I get the beep only on my laptop running Windows Vista. My desktop has Windows XP and does do the beep. It also beeps when I use the Individual tab to look at names but not when I use the search and find individual list. I tried to post this before but did not think I got posted so forgive the two posts if there are two. Joyce
