What I have been doing in this example of the son having a spouse I have clicked on John and added a spouse. I thought this wouldn't add a second entry of Jogn. To avoid this should I create a new individual, in this case Amelia, and then add their spouse by searching for an exsisting person on my data base?
I would like to enter data in the most streamlined way that would avoid me having to spend time comparing two individuals and thus avoiding possible errors.
Therefore, is there a "proper" way to add individuals (and data to them down the road) and create relationships for them? Or is this just the reality of data storing?
