Diane,

There seems to be something wrong. When you select someone in the Individual list (or in the Family view) and you then click on the Pedigree tab, it should show their pedigree. And if you select the File menu > Print Reports > Pedigree > Single Page > Preview you should see the pedigree chart(s). And at that point (if there is no checkmark in "Print to file"), and you click Print, it should print the pedigree with all of the information you have selected.

If that is not happening, do a new backup and try running Check/Repair 2 or 3 times. Then look at you pedigree view.

In PAF each person is input only once, always added as a relative to someone already there (except in the case of the first person put in the file). It is possible for a child to have multiple parents. e.g. biological, adopted, guardian, etc. You can change the child's relationship to the parents by selecting Edit menu > Parents.

If the pedigree is not displaying properly and not printing, please post another message and let us know what steps you have tried.
