Hi Gary, Sorry I have not answered before but have been struggling along with the Viewer on my windows 98 machine but I think it is failing and soon will not work at all. I have been trying again to install the viewer on my XP Pro and have the same problem. I have tried all things that I can think of. I have updated my XP today so it should be fine. I got the Viewer with the Scandinavia Vital Records index and also the Canada 1881 census but none of them seems to work. I am wondering if it because I am using XP Pro/ Anyway your input greatly appreciated. If I can't get this working is there another viewer that may work. The LDS techies were unable to help either. They thought it might be an administrator rights thing but I have tried all the accounts on my machine and none of them does the trick. Thanks. Bye for now. Leona Jensen
