Question 1: Line of Descent: What I would do in PAF, is: 1. navigate to that ancestor (a couple hundred years ago). 2. In Paf go to FILE/PRINT REPORTS 3. Choose the "DESCENDANTS" tab 3. Since you've selected the starting person, you just need to make sure you type in the maximum generations to print that will include your niece. Question 2: In PAF, under HELP/USER'S GUIDE is the user's guide. I also saw a notice in Eastman's newsletter today about an online tutorial for learning PAF: http://paftutorial.byu.edu/ Good luck, Deb
