I've been using PAF (along with other programs) since "DOS times". I run XP with PAF 5.2.18. PAF will save your "book" as an RTF file. Both WordPerfect and MS Word can read RTF files. I also use a program called PAFWiz for creating books too, since I can export as PDF and I seem to have more control over the picture inclusion process. I also used GENbook for many years. I use PAF Companion for Fan Charts and I use Family Tree Maker for the horizontal drop-box charts (I prefer those over the vertical charts created by PAF).
