The "," will only proceed a Given name where there is no entry for a Surname. So the question needs to be asked, how are you entering names - now - into PAF? If you have the option in TOOLS|PREFERENCES|NAMES set with "Given Names/SURNAME/" you should not be having this happen. Do you have the NAME option set for "Given Names// Only" perhaps (last option)? It seems strange that you have, as you say, the bottom half of your list without the ",". This is how PAF sorts names without surnames - the Given names with a comma, are always listed before the list of Surnames with Given Names. From what you have described I feel that it is how you are entering your names that is causing this to occur. Check TOOLS|PREFERENCES|NAMES and make sure you have the option for "Given Names/Surname/" ticked (first one on list). Lance |
