Sounds as though you're asking for something similar to PAFAbility which was around PAF v2.0. Starting with any individual, the program looked for the earliest paternal ancestor and printed all descendants, then moved through all other male lines, printing descendants for each (referencing previous citations as encountered.) It had the potential to provide hundreds of pages, but allowed limitations to the number of generations. I found such printouts a great help at libraries -- extended families are such good clues.
A programmer friend of mine is working on a similar report utilizing GED files and is looking for examples. If you have a text file example of what you are wanting, I'd be happy to pass along to him.
