WordPad only opens the file as a scroll, without definite pages. It doesn't have an index and I don't believe there is a way to add one like MS Word 2000. I read through the help on creating an index and I believe that would be too much work. Thanks for the advise!
I've also run across another problem for which I don't think there is a solution but maybe an explination. I've tried to create a report, smaller than 500 pages, but when I click print to file, or print via printer, the program begins to count the pages and doesn't stop. I've let the computer count up to 200,000 pages and decided that it was impossible for the report to be that long. I found a temporary solution by selecting point 5 font size for the notes before I print to file. This, as you might guess, is too small to read when printed out and the only way to make it bigger is to change each passage individually in MS Word. Boy does that get old! Any Idea Why?
