I downloaded latest version of PAF (5.1.??) just today. I followed your instructions to the tee, trying to install to a Compaq desktop. I get the same blank box hung computer as the person you responded to. I'm operating in a W98 environment. But it refuses to budge. I've even tried Start/Run/D:Setup (bypassing correct Windows install), but that doesn't work any differently. Then, being curious, I tried following your instructions and installed it to a W98 Dell laptop -- successfully! I did nothing differently, so there must be some software conflict on the desktop that prevents PAF from running properly, even though I've used every other pre-5.0 version of PAF on that machine. I'd really like to use the desktop. Anyone have any other suggestions?
