I tried this way first with no sucess. I believe the proble is that PAF is not able to reccognize all of the common ancestors and considers them to be errors. I would like to be able to tell PAF to simply cut off all names after, say the 15th generation or so but so far I have not been able to find a way. I am now in the process of rebuilding an old file (several years) and I hope in a few months I will be able to have it ready to use again. This is a really hard way to learn a lesson about saving a working file elswhere. Thanks for you help. Dave Palmer |
