I just downloaded PAF 5.1 last night. I created a file so I could backup my data on floppy disks. When I finished last night, everything was just fine. Today, I added some new RIN's but when I (1) clicked on File (2) clicked on backup (3) selected the file I made for backup (4) I got the message "this file already exists - do you want to replace it?" QUESTION: do I click YES? Will my backup file on the floppy disk now contain ALL of the information I have input? or just the NEW info? QUESTION: I have used PAF 2.31 for years and I love it's simplicity in using just the keyboard- is PAF 5.1 only "workable" with a mouse?
I do not want to make a GedCom of my 2.31 (on another computer) and import it to 5.1 as I am using 5.1 for just the one ancestral line I am focusing on. Thankyou!! Kathye
