Ooops! I made a mistake.
PAF3 does not Restore a PAF2 Backup.
It is PAF4 that will Restore a PAF3 Backup.
And PAF5 will Restore a PAF3&4 Backup.
However, Converting a PAF2 database is as simple as opening the PAF2 file in PAF4-the program then converts it automatically. You can have PAF2/3/4/5 all on your computer hard-drive and in Windows 95/98/2000/NT/ME if you want it. I do it for testing. If you keep your data files separated into different directories/folders then there is no chance of losing your data. When you are ready you can remove the PAF programs that are no longer needed.
The Windows version is much easiler to use than the DOS, you can use the Windows Copy and Paste for example.
