I have the following information about the Shaw family as it relates to my family tree on Rootsweb.Com, World Connect Project, database: wgrubb98. Most of the information is derived from family records, Census or Church records found online at Ancestry.com. If it is possible I would like to know my grandmother's family tree better than I do now. I would appreciate any information or hints that can be provided. Shaw Family data as it exists in my wgrubb98 database on Rootsweb.com: William M Shaw (abt 1816 - Aug 1884) lived in Frankford, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Married Margaret surname unknown (abt 1820-bef 1858). They had at least 2 children: (1)George Lewis Shaw (Oct 1846 - Aft 1920) married Julia Foulkrod (Mar 1852 - Mar 1906) Philadelphia They had 9 children one of whom, Gertrude Jennie Shaw (Aug 1890 - Mar 1911), was my grandmother that I never knew. (2) William James Shaw (Abt 1849 - unk) nothing else is known After Margaret's death (before 1858) William M Shaw remarried to a Rebecca surname unknown (born abt 1834 NJ) they had 4 children: (1) Charles H Shaw born abt 1858 (2) Lizzie Shaw born abt 1860 (3) Annie Shaw born abt 1867 (4) Frank Shaw born abt 1870 Any information would be gratefully appreciated.
