Thanks for your prompt reply. I do appreciate your help! Here is what I have: My grandfather: Amos Leander Cook b.9-20-1874 Lancaster Co, SC m. Lou Jailey Faile on 11-5-1893. Lou b.Lancaster CO, SC 11-22-1877. They had 10 children (two infant deaths). Amos Leander Cook son of George Ross Cook b.5-13-1856 who married Abigail Knight. George Ross Cook son of Amos Cook b.10-12-1816 who married Mary Polly Faile. Amos Cook son of Nathaniel Cook born and buried in Lancaster County, SC . Nathaniel Cook married twice (1)Sarah Hough, dau. of Amos Hough and Sarah Bivens Hough, they had three children: Euna, Charles , and Amos(who married Mary Polly Faile).(2)Molsey Baskins with whom he had these children:William, John, Shepard, Elizabeth, Minerva, Susan, Ellie, Martha(Mattie). Now, I am trying to find out parents of Nathaniel Cook. Since Amos was born in 1816, Nathaniel would have had to be born in the late 1700's, with his father probably being born 1770's??? Thanks. Rita
