Thank you for responding! I recently discovered a sword with PETER TESH engraved on it...We were thinking it might be HENRICH PETER's, but hmmm, if PETER TESH on your line was called that. I'm wondering if it might be his. Do they have any connection to Vermont? Or perhaps the revolutionary war? Also, would PETER TESH have had HENRICH as a father or grandfather that would have been in the New York area, because I also discovered a HENRICH who had sponsored a child around 1715, but HENRICH TESH on my family didn't come over until 1752. Oh, my mom just said to also put, we discovered an ADAM TESH and HENRICH TESH (although the last names were not spelled exactly TESH, but we figured they could have been TESH) who came over around 1710, I think the date was, on a ship called...WINTER (something, geez, I can't remember, but we had found it on THE ROTTERDAM LISTS)
I would still love to find out if there is any connection any futher back! Have you ever heard of FRANZ TESH?
