I am looking for my husband's family. His father, Daniel Thomas McFadden was born June 21, 1911. He married Miriam Hornbeck from Allentown in the late 1930's. I found the rest of his family on the 1910 Census. His father was Charles McFadden and his mother was Florence Seislove. Charles and Florence had the four boys, Edward, Charles, Thomas and Daniel. Charles was an iron worker who fell and died. This was while Daniel was still a baby. Florence stayed around for three years and then took off to Philadelphia. The boys stayed with a couple they called Aunt Mame and Uncle Harry. I don't know if they were part of the Seislove family or not.

I think Charles' father was Daniel McFadden whom I found on the same 1910 census. He lived on Tilghman Street and had a whole group of grown kids living at home. His wife's name was Mary Unknown. The children still at home were Ella, Maggie, Johel, Viranifret (Spelling), Daniel and Thomas. All the men in the family are named Daniel, Charles, Thomas and Edward with the other names used as middle names. I think Daniel immigrated from Ireland, probably County Donegal around 1867. Mary came to the US in 1868, As it was, she had her first baby at 14. I still have not found out what ships they were on.

My father-in-law was a pretty well known football player for Allentown HS in the 30's. He was also an executive for American Can Company.

If any one can help me, I sure would appreciate it. It would be a terrific Father's Day gift to my husband. We had just about given up hope of finding any information. Thanks in advance for your help.
