84 year old Thomas McQuillen, originally from Tyrone area of Blair Co. died by being struck by a passenger train on 27 Nov. 1894 in Woodland, Clearfield, PA. His wife Jane (Hunter)McQuillen died prior on 24 Aug 1887 in Woodland. At least two sons lived and died in the Woodland area. Adam McQuillen (wife: Mary Boyle) died 18 April 1915. He was a Civil War veteran and member of the Clearfield Post of the Grand Army of the Republic. A younger brother, Nehemiah death date unknown. A nephew of the above Thomas McQuillen the elder, George Washington McQuillen died 23 Jan 1912 in Sterling, Clearfield. I believe his wife was a Sarah Goss.
Does anyone have knowledge of this family or most importantly who Thomas the elder's parents were?
