The information I have on Murphy's from New Brunswick,Canada: My Paternal grandmother-Mary Bibianna Murphy b. 1892 South Nelson,N.B.,Canada d. 1964, Presque Isle,Maine. Her father- Jeremiah Murphy b.01/06/1859 in Douglastown,N.B. Canada married Annie Gaffney b.1870 South Nelson,N.B.,Canada in 1892. Jeremiah's father- Patrick Murphy b. 1835 in Douglastown,N.B.,Canada. He married in 1858 to Mary Craig b. 1837 in Douglastown,N.B.,Canada. Mary Bibianna siblings were: Clifford b.1894,Mary Ann b.1900,Frances b. 1902,Jeremiah b. 1906,Hilliary b. 1893,Herman b. 1910 and Florence b. 1908. Hope this helps-maybe there is a connection. Jane
