Andrew Murphy (1846-1913) was born in the Miramichi area of New Brunswick, Canada. He was a blacksmith by trade. After marrying Elizabeth Bostic in 1878 he settled in Lumber City, Clearfield County, PA, where he and Elizabeth raised 10 children. Andrew was a brother of my g/grandfather Patrick Murphy,who remained in New Brunswick, and of John L. Murphy who settled in Denver, CO and raised 3 children including a son Rev. Eugene P. Murphy, the "Jesuit of the Airwaves" from his base in St. Louis. I would like to receive information on descendants.
