Fran, the above photograph is of my gr gr grandmother's sister. She and Martha Ellen were daughters of Samuel Anderson and Betsy McKensie. Samuel was William C Anderson's Uncle.

I have several photo's if you will scroll down to the Meeks etc. I own these wonderful old family photo's.
They were from my gr grandmother Jackoline Meeks,Massey.
Jackoline was the wife of Martha Ellen Anderson and James Massey's son Samuel C. Massey. Samuel C was known as "OUTLAW Sam" and was shot and killed in 1872. He left a son named Samuel Houston who was my Mother's Father. Samuel Massey married Ella Mae Osteen, whoes Mother was Minerva Ann Mims. She was the relative of Jesse James and Zerelda Mims.

William C. Anderson liked to play cowboys and Indians, but he was not Bloody Bill Anderson of Quantrell fame.
Thank you for all the research you have done.
