There are quite a few "free sites" which offer Oregon information but to obtain the actual images of the records usually comes with s fee or a request to a volunteer who can obtain the information. Wheeler is a sparse county in terms of people. The Gilliam County Historical Society has some information on Wheeler County residents. They are open from the end of May through October.
