Welcome, cousin. You'll have to dig further here for dates and more info, but James Tensel Ong is a name I recognize from earlier posts and I believe his paternal lineage is as follows: Edmond Onge (b 1537 Lavenham, Suffolk, England) Edmond Onge (d 1630 Lavenham, widow Frances + children emigrated to Boston, MA arr Feb 1631) Isaac Ong (MA to NJ) Jacob Ong ("Sr", Little Egg Harbor, NJ) Jacob Ong ("Jr" Burlington Co NJ) Jeremiah Ong (to Western PA) Jeremiah Ong (3rd son, PA, a blacksmith?) Zadoc Ong (PA) James Tensel Ong I am descended from the elder Jeremiah's oldest son Jacob who moved to Ohio from PA ca 1790 (and where I grew up 7 generations later).
