I am reposting my interest in the O'Neill surname from Witless Bay, Newfoundland. Hoping to find additional information on Nicholas Patrick O'Neill (born approx. 1860 in Witless Bay to parents John O'Neil and Helen Carey/Carew?). Possible he had a brother Matthew who remained in Witless Bay and another brother Henry who moved to the United States. Nicholas married Mary Arnold on Jan 21, 1896 in Curling, Newfoundland.
