MRS.O’HARA,NEE GAYNOR NEW ORLEANS 1905

Do you recognize Mrs. O’Hara among your ancestors?
Mrs. O’Hara, nee Gaynor, was born in County Cavan, Ireland probably between 1810 & 1840 & was residing in New Orleans, LA in 1905.
She was the sister of my great-grandfather,John Gaynor,born Nov.12,1827 in County Cavan ,Ireland. Died April 14,1905 in Columbus,Ohio USA.
He emigrated to the USA in 1847 and settled in Pottstown,PA

In 1849 in Potttstown he married Anna Farelly, daughter of Phillip & Mary Farelly, who was also born in County Cavan June 12,1824. Died July 3,1897 in Chillicothe,Ohio USA.
She emigrated to the USA in 1837 with her parents and settled in Pottstown,PA.

In 1852 they were living in Middleport, PA
In 1853 & 1855 they were living in Lexington, KY
In 1858,1860&1863 they were living inRichland Furnace, Vinton County, OH.
In 1864 they moved to Chillicothe,OH into the house in which they spent the rest of their lives.

Their six children with dates of birth were:
John, Jr. 1852
Delia A. 1853
Henry Sheridan Oct.27, 1855
James F. 1858
Mary C. July 20,1860
Philip Bernard Jan. 7,1864

Of the six children only Henry Sheridan Gaynor (my grandfather) produced offspring.
