This is part of an Alva Myers Obit. I think it is probably the one you wan- see if her siblings match.
Alva A. Myers, 84, of Bryan, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007, after an extended illness.
Born Jan. 3, 1923, near Fayette, to Clara (Saunders) and George E. Myers, he married Flora E. Fiser on Jan. 3, 1946, and she preceded him in death in 1972. He then married Esther Lautzenheiser-Roan on Feb. 10, 1974, in Bryan, and she survives.
A farmer and carpenter, he was employed by Burkholder Construction for 20 years prior to his retirement.
He was a former member of Bryan Moose Lodge No. 1064.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Janet (and husband, Ronald) Lee of Oscodo, Mich., and Suzanne (Bill) Snyder of Alpina, Mich.; a son, Allan (and wife, Janice) Myers of Bryan; three stepchildren, Bonnie (Mike) Sentle of Montpelier, Wesley (Carol) Roan of Columbia, S.C. and Lyle (Joyce) Roan of Bryan; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and a brother, Verlin Myers of Napoleon.
