Dear Sue,

Still haven't unpacked but have looked at my chart. I am no less interested in this stuff but family demands have left me VERY little time for my family tree hobby at the moment.

YES, I do show William H. Thompson and Margaret Fogle in my chart. I'm NOT a pro but do the best I can so take each of these with grain of salt. William H. Thompson born Feb 5, 1864, Died Oct 11, 1887. His wife is a dead end for me, I show a Margaret R. Fogle with no further information. If you know yours is solid on Margaret I add that in.

William H. Thompson is the son of John Thompson, Jr. and Mary A. Bulger. I show William H. Thompson and Margaret Fogle having one son Charles Claire. I will send an ancestor chart of this Charles Claire Thompson to your posted online email address in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. In addition you should check the free USGEN web site where I posted some photos and relationships of this grouping long ago when I had bunches more time on my hands.

William H. Thompson is the direct ancestor of the Dorland/Thompson family, original founders of New York prior to the pilgrims. One of their ancestral homes is on permenant display in the Brooklyn Museum of Art. The Schenck House. A professional researcher named Judy Cassidy in colaboration with now deceased Judy Barth is about to publish a book on the history of this Dorland family dating back to 1210 in Belgium. The real deal and detailed to the hilt. Think it's coming out of the New York Geneoalogical Society. Presently being "indexed" I'm told. Terry
