I'm searching for any information regarding my gggg grandfather Isaac Montgomery or his family. Isaac was born in Comber, County Down, Ireland in 1770. His wife was Ruth Hargrove, b. 1773 in Maryland. They were among the original settlers of Chippewa Township, arriving there in 1813. Isaac died in 1840, although I have been unable to locate his grave. Ruth died in 1850.

Sons were
John b. 1798 in Maryland (married Mary 'Polly' Shatto)
William b. 1800 in Maryland
Isaac b. 1802 in Maryland (married Nancy Unknown)
Richard b. 1803 in Pennsylvania
George b. 1814 in Chippewa, Wayne County, Ohio (m. Harriet Unknown)

The four older sons settled wilderness in Sullivan County, Missouri. George remained in Wayne County and died on June 2nd, 1850. He is buried in a Catholic Cemetery in Doylesville.

John Montgomery named his oldest son Doyle after William Doyle, founder of Doylesville. Doyle Montgomery married William Doyle's granddaughter Mariah Doyle.

Any information regarding the Wayne County period of my family history would be truly appreciated.
