Hi, Mary. We have talked before. My father is 91 now and knew Dr. Hass. This is what he can remember. Dr. Hass was a very large, in fact, obese person. He was very easy going with a good bedside manner. At the end of WW II, he was stationed with American troops in, and Dad is not quite sure of this, Vladivostok, Russia. He married a Russian girl from there and brought her home, then later brought her parents over. She was a very talented person, being a nurse, and had an antique shop. They had, Dad thinks, 3 boys and 1 girl. A son, Edwin, was in Dad's brother's class in school and became a school teacher. Another son, Vic, worked in a shoe shop on High St. in Columbus, Oh. Dr. Hass may be buried in Mt. Pleasant Cem., but not sure. I have not looked in my V. C. resource books for further Hass info. Do you want anything else? Sharon
