I really hope you're able to get this message. I'm really getting perplexed about the possible intermariages for one Van Wye, HUnter, Wells family.

I bought a picture on Ebay that was found at a flea market in Indiana. The picture, taken November 1901, shows an old man and a middle age man standing in the back. The old man has his hand on an old womans shoulders. The middle aged man is tanding behind a toddler and young woman.

The back of the photo lists them as:
Mrs. Catherine Hunter, age 80
Mr. E. W. Van Wye, age ?(can't read it)
Mr. J. D. Hunter, age 47
Mrs. Clara A. Wells, age 20
Harold Hunter Wells, 20 mn

I think, but have no way of proving, that Catherine Hunter is J. D. Hunter's mother. I think that E. W. Van Wye is Catherine's brother. I think that Clara Wells is J. D. Hunter's daughter. And I think that Harold is Clara Wells son.

I see online that a Harold Hunter Wells married a Rose Marie Damon and they had two children, Jaqueline and William D. But that's where it ends.
