I have an Alexander C Lanier of Jefferson County Indiana having land after his death deeded over to a James Cox Jr of Baltimore Maryland:

2-14-1817 - Alexander C. LANIER and Drusilla wife of PCO to James COX Jr. ;
$3000.; in-lots 10 & 11 of public /square lots. Wit: James HOLLIDAY, Alex. MCCONEL.

I would like to know if any one can follow this land and see just who got this land after it left James Cox Jr.s' possession? And if this was transferred or sold to any one with the Cox last name who this person was and how long they owned it?
