I am looking for the parents of Thomas L Hamer b. 17 JAN 1819 MD. m. Rhoda Ann Davis 18 May 1845 Morgan County, OH d. 17 APR 1895 Dexter City, OH, buried South Olive Cemetery. Listed on census', 1850, 60, 70, 80. Have photos and bible pages provided by other descendants and I have personal mementos of Thomas' son, Benjamin Wallace Hamer b. 1856 Caldwell, Noble Co, OH.

The Hamer family may be considered a "Duck Creek family." Thomas L Hamer joined Civil War, 1861 - 1862 Union, age 43, served primarily as nurse. He farmed, perhaps on same land indicated with his name in the 1879 Almanac, adjacent to or part of Newburgh/Dexter City, OH. Other land owners pictured next to or close to Thomas Hamer in 1879 were: Ogle, Hussey, Phillips, Blake, Flanders and Davis.

Thomas L Hamer is my ggg grandfather. Any help or direction appreciated. Michael Hamer
