My grandmother was Emma Ida (Lozier) Given. She was born on November 11, 1893. Her brother, Harold "Raymond" Lozier, was born in 1897. I am approximating his age from the 1910 Miracode Census Index (Marietta, Ohio) and dates listed under Ancestry.com for Ohio Military Men-1917-1918. He was killed in action in Meuse-Argonne, France November 10, 1918. The military record says he was 21 and 9/12 years old at the time of his death. He was brought back to the United States on the SS Wheaton, in 1921. I am told my grandmother took him to Marietta, Ohio for burial. His military record indicates he was born in Monroe County, Ohio. Their father's name was Fredrick Lozier. On his marriage certificate, 1893-Marietta, Ohio, is listed Jennie Stevens, as bride. I know very little about her except two conflicting stories. The first is that she died after giving birth to Raymond. The second is that she and Fredrick divorced when my grandmother was three. She would never discuss the matter, so my information is not first-hand. Any information concerning these relatives would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
