The old Infirmary book was recently located. I did make an index of same. The book is in such a deplorable condition that it can not be put out for general usage.
I have 2 entries for Belle Stant:
on 28 April, 1899 The entry said Belle Stant, age 15
residence Good Hope Township. She was married to John Sams and discharged on 10 May, 1902
on 17 October, 1899 the entry is for Clifford Elmer, child of Belle Stant He was discharged with his mother on 10 May 1902
That is the only record for Belle.
There are other Stants listed in the book:
Jonathan in 1885
Barberry in 1885
Eliza in 1886
Johnathan in 1887
Lyde in 1991
Clifford in 1999, and Solomon, who I believe to be Stant in 1899
At this time I dop not know just where the book is located. There was some talk of trying to repair it. But that is all of the data that was listed about Belle.
