Notes for ANN ELIZABETH HUGUS: Hugus Family Reunion Five Brothers and Sisters Together for First Time in 22 Years A reunion of the Hugus family was held at the residence of Mrs. Katherine Eichner, West Front Street on Friday. Five brothers and sisters met together at this reunion for the first time in 22 years. There are eight brothers and sisters living the youngest being 60 and the oldest more than 80. Those present at the gathering were S. E. Hugus, 60 Findlay, Ohio, George Hugus, 78 Grove City, Thomas Hugus 80, Silgo; Mrs. Marie Whitehille, 66, Knox and Mrs. Katherine Eichner, 72. The three members of the family who were unable to be present at the reunion are: Mrs. Elizabeth Eichner, 75, Oil City, who is now in Oregon; J. S. Hugus 66, Knox; Henry Hugus, 62 Rawson, Ohio. Mrs. Katherine Eichner, the hostess has been ill for the past six weeks, but was able to be present at the dinner table. This afternoon at 2:30, at the Eichner home, No. 11 East Fourth Street, Rev. S.A. Cornelius, D.D., pastor of the Second Presbyterian church, conducted services in memory of Frederick Eichner, whose death occurred Saturday noon. Many friends attended the services, the deceased, who had resided in this city since the early 60's having a Wide acquaintance among the older residents. There was a profuse offering of flowers. The interment was in Grove Hill cemetery, the following friends of the family acting as well as pallbearers: Messrs. J.D. Ross, J.H. McElroy, M.B. Crowther, E.E. Powell. G.A Welker and Lewis Davison.
