There used to be a children's home on the north side of Greenville. Before the bypass was constructed, the home sat next to US 127. Now that stretch is called Wagner Avenue. I am almost certain that it was torn down a long time ago, but the old cemetery is still close by. If you look at a map you can find the road called Children's Home - Bradford Road, but I do not believe that the Home was actually on that road. There is also the Darke County Home, located south of Greenville, off state highway 49
